ASL DIRECT Secure bilingual intake

Privacy and data practices

Know what is collected—and when

The public portal is informational and does not ask you to submit personal details or facts about a legal matter. Voice intake is not yet open to the public.

Public website

The current portal does not intentionally set advertising cookies, embed third-party trackers, or provide a case-submission form. Infrastructure logs may contain an IP address, request path, browser information, and timestamp for security and reliability.

When a participating firm activates intake

A guided call may collect contact details, names of involved parties, dates, matter facts, language preference, consent, urgency indicators, and a transcript. Audio recording is not enabled in the current pilot configuration.

Who processes information

The direct architecture uses the participating law firm’s ASL environment together with DigitalOcean hosting, Twilio telephony, and Amazon Nova voice services. Make and Retell are not part of the runtime.

Control, retention, and requests

Each participating firm must approve access, retention, deletion, legal-hold, and incident procedures before real client traffic. Final privacy notices and request channels are established with that firm before activation.

Not a final firm privacy notice

This page describes the platform’s current pilot behavior. A participating law firm must publish the legally applicable notice and contact method before receiving real client information.
